Many times, it’s helpful to detect and address underlying nutritional deficiencies and food sensitivities to increase the body’s ability to heal more fully.

Armed with this information, our patients can make better choices regarding their food and supplements, so they can help improve their long-term health on their own.

Our Testing

We offer a wide range of tests, and we will begin by talking with you about any specific concerns you may have—for example, if you suspect you may have a food sensitivity, we will check for that; if you think you may be deficient in vitamin D, we can test for that, etc.

• Comprehensive GI Profile: This test uses a stool sample to assess a whole panel of different gastrointestinal markers.
• Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO): Using a breath test, we assess bacterial levels in the intestines.
• Intestinal Permeability: Urinalysis that assesses nutrient absorption and the overall gut/brain connection.
• Food Sensitivity/Allergy: Identifies foods that you may be allergic to.
• Vitamin D: Many of us in La Crosse don’t get enough sunlight, and this blood test checks your vitamin D levels.
• Cortisol: Blood analysis that assesses your cortisol level.
• Thyroid Panel: Blood test to determine how well your thyroid is functioning.
